The Sony ECMHST1 gun zoom microphone is an affordable solution for general audio capturing with Sony Handy-cam camcorders. The small, lightweight gun zoom microphone features user selectable audio coverage, allowing users to select between 90 and 100 degree pick up angles. In addition, the HST1 features an Active Interface Shoe that enables the microphone to be powered directly from Sony Handy-cam camcorders.
