1. Scope of Application
All sales, deliveries and services on our part are subject to the following terms. Any conditions deviating from our terms are invalid, even if we execute our orders without having objected to these conditions explicitly.
2. Offers, Prices and Conclusions of Contracts
In our catalogues and price lists, you will always find cash prices quoted value inclusive of value added tax. All offers are subject to alterations. With smaller articles and commodities being ordered, the price valid on the day of delivery is charged. If prices of equipment ordered are raised, we will seek your consent before the execution of the order. Price reductions will be transferred to you immediately. For valid conclusions of contracts our written confirmation of the order is required. The latter is replaced by delivery and/ or invoice. Agreements and deviations from our terms by word of mouth require written form. This also applies to the renunciation of the form requirement. Drawings, illustrations, measurements, weights and other production data , particularly in prospectuses, are only binding if there is an explicit written agreement. Such particulars do not constitute any assurances of properties, even if they contain indications of norms, as for instance DIN .
3. Guarantee
We offer product guarantee customary in our line of business. For cameras and objectives, we grant a total of 2 years guarantee. In the second year of the guarantee, the execution of repairs must be performed directly via Digitalwonderworld. This is important. Please enclose, if guarantee is required, return forms and the origanal guarantee card ( if comprised in the delivery). Otherwise our dealing with the matter will not be possible.
The company Digitalwonderworld is not accountable for shipping charges incurred from the return of faulty items. Items may be sent to us for repair at the expense of the customer. The customer will also be billed for shipping when repaired items are returned. This charge will be in accordance with our international shipping rates.
4. Right to Exchange
Once an order has been made by a customer we provide, free of charge, the possibility to return the goods within fourteen days of the date of shipment.
For returned goods, in perfect condition, unused and in the original packaging, we will, upon request, reimburse the cost of the goods by bank transfer.
For returned goods, we require a copy of the purchase receipt.
Digitalwonderworld accepts no responsibility for the loss, or damage, of the goods during transit.
Exchage and return is not possible for used goods or special order items - see section 5 of out terms of business.
5. Special Orders
We welcome the opportunity to execute special orders of articles
not listed in our catalogue within the limits of our capabilities.
Yet they are required in writing with written confirmation by the Digitalwonderworld as well. The right to exchange according to figure 4 is excluded.
6. Trade-in Payment
We take in used cameras, objectives and accessories at a fair price in case of new purchase. Please send us your used equipment together with your original order in postage-paid packing for appraisal. You will receive our trade-in offer by return of post. In case the trade-in arrangement does not work out, you will be returned your equipment at our expense.
7. Delivery and Place of Performance
Our commercial domicile is the place of performance for our services. Forwarding charges are to be seen from our current catalogue and refer to delivery within Luxembourg. Exports to EF countries are feasible. Please request explicit information in that case. Though we endeavour to deliver at the fastest possible rate, possible time-of- delivery specifications are approximate and non-committal. Partial deliveries are at our discretion according to the delivery situation, unless the customer expressly stated otherwise when ordering.
8. Refusal of Acceptance
Applicable for 15 :
With our delivery rejected without previous cancellation of the order in writing, we charge a share of the costs amounting to Euro 15.-, with acceptance of express delivery/ acceptance of freight rejected, a share of the costs amounting to Euro 30.-.
Written cancellation is only valid once a written confirmation has been sent from Digitalwonderworld, accepting the cancellation. If an order is shipped before we are able to confirm the cancellation, and subsequently rejected by the customer causing the goods to be returned to Digitalwonderworld, the customer will be billed for EUR 30,- .
Applicable outside 15 :
With our delivery rejected without previous cancellation of the order in writing, we charge a share of the costs amounting to Euro 27.-, with acceptance of express delivery/ acceptance of freight rejected, a share of the costs amounting to Euro 50.-.
Written cancellation is only valid once a written confirmation has been sent from Digitalwonderworld, accepting the cancellation. If an order is shipped before we are able to confirm the cancellation, and subsequently rejected by the customer causing the goods to be returned to Digitalwonderworld, the customer will be billed for EUR 50,- .
9. Terms of Payment
As a rule, despatch is performed Prepayment (normally fastest shipment only possible within the country ), advance payment (advance remittance into a bank account respectively a postal giro account), automatic debit transfer (only with regular customers) or credit card payment. When paying by cheque or remittance, please take the forwarding charges into consideration, which are to be seen from the current catalogue comprising our total range of products. In case of prepayment, the despatch of the consignment is carried out after cash receipt. In case of invoicing, our deliveries are due to be paid for without any discount immediately after receipt of invoice in a fortnight at the latest as from the date of the invoice . Any agreements deviating from this regulation require written form. Counterbalancing with counter claims is only admissible if we acknowledge the cross claim or if it has been recognised as having legal force. The purchaser renounces pursuit of any right of retention resulting from previous or other business transactions within the framework of business connections with us. In case of delay of payment, we are entitled to charge interest for default amounting to 2% above the current central bank discount rate. Submission of proof of greater or lesser damage is thereby not excluded.

Shipments of goods within the EU are shipped at the indicated prices; there are no additional duties or taxes. Our offers already include the 15% Value Added Tax, which is applicable in 15.
The VAT will be deducted from the selling price for companies that are located within the EU and have a VAT Registration Number.
15% will be deducted from the price for the VAT if shipments of goods are going outside the EU. Any duties or VAT normally applicable in the respective destination country will be billed to the Customer under all circumstances.
If your order is delivered by DPD, then the shipment will be consigned to you and charged to you. The postage costs paid by us on your behalf are included in the invoice amount.
11. Customer Complaint and Guarantee
For complaints lodged by traders, legal regulations are applicable. Otherwise we are to be notified in writing of obvious defects within a time limit of 8 days. Otherwise no warranty claims can be brought forward. Guarantee is confined to repair respectively compensation delivery. Should three attempts at rectification of defects respectively at subsequent delivery fail, the contracting party is entitled to have the choice to claim reduction of price or cancellation of sale. Further claims on the part of the customer, particularly compensation claims, not realised profit or other financial damage suffered by the customer included, are excluded. This does not apply if the cause of damage is based on intent or gross negligence or if damages are claimed for absence of an assured quality. In case the examination of the defective article shows that the defect is due to a fault proved to have been committed by the purchaser, the purchaser will be informed about this in writing by the Digitalwonderworld. Should the customer then insist on rectification of defects, he also has to bear the costs. If a repair order is placed, the customer will be billed for the expenses of looking into the source of errors and for diagnosing the product. If work, interference and/or repairs are carried out by the customer or a third party without our written consent, our warranty obligation and our promise of guarantee expire according to figure 3.
12. Reservation of Title
The commodity delivered remains property of Digitalwonderworld up to total claim settlement and redemption of all debts owing and accruing within the framework of the business connection, regardless of which legal basis claims are made on. In case of sale of a commodity delivered with reservation of ownership being effected by the customer, or in case of this product being linked to other objects, the customer already at this point transfers to us all claims resulting from the sale respectively joining to the amount of the value of the commodities delivered on the basis of reservation of title together with all ancillary rights and debt ranks in priority to others. We accept that assignment.
13. Customer Complaint and Insurance
Every commodity we forward is insured en route by the Allianz Insurance plc. In case of damage inflicted on a consignment while en route, or in case of incomplete delivery, a complaint is to be lodged within 48 hours with a written statement of the facts to be made by the forwarding agent, by the German Federal Postal Administration respectively the German Federal Railways, by the carrier. Otherwise claim for replacement expires.
14. Liability
Liability is confined to damage caused grossly negligently or intentionally by us or any person employed by us in the performance of our obligation. The limitation on liability applies to contractual as well as noncontractual claims.
15. Data protection
The security of your data and protection of your privacy is of significant importance for DigitalWonderWorld. It is one of the basic prerequisites for the success of our company. You, as the customer, will only buy from us, if the business process is secure and data abuse can be excluded.
We have obliged ourselves to the following:
We will only collect such information that is necessary for the processing of your order and for improvement purposes of our service.
We will not forward your data to third parties.
We will not enter into any businesses concerning your email address.
DigitalWonderWorld guarantees compliance with the strict regulations of the data protection law. Your privacy is protected by us.
You are entitled to information, correction, blocking and deletion of your saved data at any time. Just write to us at info@digitalwonderworld.de
The data transfer of your personal data is carried out with the particularly secure SSL-technology. Accordingly, unauthorised access by third parties to your data can be excluded.
We will protect the access to your data on our servers. Parties that are not authorised at DigitalWonderWorld do not have access to your data.

17. Miscellanea
The law of the Federal Republic of 15 applies to all legal relations of parties with the exclusion of uniform laws on sale of goods. The invalidity of any provision listed above shall not affect any part of the other conditions. The ineffective provision will then - by mutual agreement - be replaced by another that economically comes closest in its intention to the invalid provision.
18. Severability Clause
In the event of the non-enforceability of one of the conditions indicated previously, the enforceability of the remaining conditions will not be affected. The non-enforceable clause will then be replaced, as agreed, by one whose commercial intentions come closest to those of the non-enforceable clause.
19. Translations
The translation of our Terms and Conditions of Business (AGB) into foreign languages is only intended to make them more understandable. Only the German version is legally binding.
20. Exclusion of liability
The contents of our Web page are prepared with the utmost of care and are revised at regular intervals. In spite of this, we do not assume any responsibility for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information that is provided.
In the case of unintentional copyright infringements, the corresponding object will be removed from the page immediately after this is reported. Also, we will not be held liable for the content of any third party Web pages, which access our Web page via a hyperlink. Also, we will not be held responsible for direct or indirectly damages, which could be caused as a result of using the information provided by us.
